It is reported that road grip, agility and safety are areas the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta has improved. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta features four turbo engines, all Euro 5 compliant and fitted with standard Start&Stop system to reduce emissions and consumption levels. The engines include two gasoline engines (1.4 TB-120 horsepower MultiAir-170 horsepower), and two diesel engines (1.6 JTDM-105 horsepower and 2.0 JTDM-170 horsepower).

The engines, all of which are Turbo, and the Start & Stop technology combine increased power with reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. At the launch, five engines will be available, where the 1750TBi in the exclusive Cloverleaf configuration is sure to stand out.
Control
The intelligent Alfa Romeo D.N.A. technology allows three settings which adapts the overall behavior of the vehicle to respond to the driver's needs in real time, such as regulating the steering response, the engine response logistics, the intervention of the Q2 electronic differential and the vehicle dynamic control (VDC).
Design
The new design utilizes materials such as aluminium, magnesium and high-strength steels, making the vehicle tougher but also lighter and increasing your driving pleasure and comfort, even in more challenging driving conditions
Combining sportiness and elegance, the Alfa Giulietta embodies Alfa Romeo's new technology and design direction, which began with the 8C Competizione "supercar" and is highlighted by the return to Italian names, which on the one hand communicates the brand's rich tradition and on the other hand its technological and emotional values.
The interior clearly takes inspiration from the Giulietta of the 1950s with its streamlined shape and light and sharp lines. The "balance" controls in the centre of the dashboard, on the other hand are reminiscent of the modern day 8C Competizione.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta has the dimensions and proportions of a compact vehicle, but with ample space for the highest comfort, as well as a 350 litre boot. All this is combined with extraordinary dynamic performance, thanks to the technology developed for the steering, undercarriage and suspension, capable of guaranteeing ideal agility

Auto Express Magazine readers have voted the Jaguar XF "Britains Best Car", in the 2009 Driver Power survey. The XF scored 91.18% overall - enough for top spot.
Commenting on this, Jaguars MD Mike O'Driscoll said: "Securing top place in the UK motoring community's top driver satisfaction poll is an excellent result.

You can also increase your gas mileage on your hybrid diesel by the way you drive. Driving with extreme road rage can reduce your gas mileage as well as put you in danger. Aggressive driving puts extra pressure on the engine which causes your engine to work extra hard and burn more fuel.

Volkswagen is ready to produce One liter fuel efficient car. VW was working for quite a time on fuel efficient car and finally they been able to produce one. The car is fully designed on aero dynamics.
Now VW launched the idea again, in fact it was the biggest VW news to shape the prototype into commercial production at Frankfurt auto show.
The one liter car was anticipated to be fuel efficient like it would be reaching 240 miles in a gallon.
Now to reach the level of 240 miles per gallon, three aspects had to be fulfilled to make the car fuel efficient.
The L1's CO2 emissions are crazy low – just 36 grams per kilometer – from a hybrid TDI and 10 kW electric motor powerplant. The 0.8-liter TDI unit was derived from the 1.6 TDI that is making its debut in Frankfurt in the new Golf BlueMotion and Passat BlueMotion. Top speed is 100 mph. The tandem seats are accessible from a hinged roof cover.

Peugeot has a new sedan named Peugeot High 5. This car is powered by the 2.0 litre HDi FAP163 bhp diesel engine that is mounted at the front of the vehicle, and combined with a 37 bhp electric motor at the rear. Combination between big engine and high quality material makes this car is precious to have. The new 5 concept car is 4860mm long and rides on whopping 19in alloys.
Four-wheel drive is available "on demand" and fuel consumption and emissions figures for the diesel-electric system are quoted at 3.8 liters/100 km and 99 g/km of CO2 (or 0 in electric-only mode).
Geneva’s show floor next month will roll out the red carpet for Peugeot’s new diesel-electric hybrid ‘5 by Peugeot’ concept. The 16-foot-long combines a front mounted, 120 kW, 2.0-liter HDi diesel engine with a 27 kW electric motor at the rear. The car maker plans to launch HYbrid4technology in Europe on the 3008 production model from 2011. The ‘5 by Peugeot’ concept is to be unveiled in Geneva alongside the company’s SR1concept car.
The concept vehicle will be demonstrated as a vehicle with Twin LED arrays at the front, distinctive rear lights made up of three raised red clusters, brushed-aluminum window surrounds and door handles.
